MEETING WITH HO CHI MINH CITY TRADITIONAL MEDICINE HOSPITAL
, 28/05/2024 15:05On the morning of May 31, representatives of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (USSH, VNU-HCM) held a meeting to welcome the delegation from the Traditional Medicine Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. The purpose of the visit was to study the model of centers directly under the university.
Dr. Phan Thanh Dinh, Vice President of USSH, and teachers and staffs from the Center for Vietnam and Southeast Asian Studies and the Center for Korean Studies welcomed the delagates. The Traditional Medicine Hospital delegation included Specialist Doctor II Do Tan Khoa - Director of the Hospital, as well as MSc. Huynh Xuan Thao, the Deputy Director of the Hospital, and department heads and deans.

Dr. Phan Thanh Dinh, on behalf of USSH, shared some information about the university and its affiliated centers. The leaders of the centers also provided more specific information about their operations, procedures, goals, and development orientation within the overall functioning of the university.
As part of the program, the Traditional Medicine Hospital delegation also visited the offices of the Korean Studies Center and the Center for Rural Development - Saemaul Undong.
This meeting sets the stage for future cooperation opportunities between the two parties in the fields of medicine and education.
