SIGNING CEREMONY BETWEEN INSTITUTE FOR EAST ASIA ECONOMY (IEAE) AND CENTER FOR VIETNAMESE AND SOUTHEAST ASIAN STUDIES (CVSEAS)
, 13/02/2009 09:02On 19 December 2008, CVSEAS signed Memorandum of Co-operation with Institute for East Asia Economy, Chosun University, the Republic of Korea.
Attending the ceremony were Prof. Lee Byung-Hwa - Director of IEAE, Prof. Kim An-Ho; Prof. Kim Jong-Ho; Dr. Meng Kyong Hee and Prof. Ahn Kyong Hwan – translator of “Prison Diary”, “Kieu’s Tale” and “Dang Thuy Tram’s Diary”.
	
On the side of USSH, there presented Dr. Tran Dinh Lam – Director of CVSEAS, Dr. Thanh Phan – Vice director of CVSEAS and Dr. Tran Thi Thu Luong – Vice director of Center of Korean Studies.
	
In the ceremony, Dr. Lam expressed his thanks to IEAE and his pleasure to have co-operation with IEAE. This was considered the first important step to build up the long-term co-operation between the two organizations. Prof. Lee Byung Hwa expressed his high appreciation of the signing between IEAE and CVSEAS in the field of scientific research and education.
	
After the ceremony, IEAE representatives had a meeting with Prof. Dr. Vo Van Sen, the Rector of USSH. Prof. Dr. Sen expressed his approval and happiness on the co-operation of IEAE and CVSEAS because it made a contribution to strengthening the good relationship between Chosun University and USSH.
