On October 24th, 2019, after paid a visit in a wheelchair manufacturer of disability community in Kaohsiung - Taiwan (funded by Toyota), Dr. Tran Dinh Lam - Director of Business Management and International Finance Program, invited by Prof. Wu Shu-Hsing, had a workshop about the Vietnam economy development process with international students (Indonesia, Cambodia, Taiwan,..) who were studying at the Faculty of International Finance of Chang Jung Christian University.

The discussion focused on the crucial aspects of the business environment in Vietnam including educated human resource, stable political setting, market with many potentials for growth and policies that call for investment for forgein nations.  When discussing the economic success of East Asian countries, the postgraduates praised the effectiveness of Taiwan’s economic integration model and the internal strength of its population. Despite its small population, Taiwan has proved its growth which stemmed from internal strength and has become a great example for economic integration that other regional countries could learn from. Going along with these statements, the international students promised to devote themselves to acquire knowledge and use that knowledge to benefit their homeland. The sense of contributing for the community combined with the interest for research of the professors, lecturers and locals were what inspired Chang Jung Christian’s international students and people from neighboring nations.
