On March, 19th 2021, the executive committee of V2WORK Project held a meeting with the enterprise leaders to discuss the VEES-Net strategy development plan of the V2WORK project. The meeting also provided an occasion for the enterprises and the executive committee to discuss the job market in the context of the post-COVID-19 pandemic.

In the evening of March 17th, 2021, the Steering Committee of project TOURIST* at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City joined the virtual TOURIST’s Post-Project Evaluation Meeting. The occasion marked the end of TOURIST after more than 03 years of spreading knowledge of sustainable tourism in Vietnam and Thailand.

From 30 June to 3 July 2020, the International Seminar on sustainable development of V2WORK project was organized by the project management team at the University of Technology and Education-The University of Danang. The seminar aimed at exchanging solutions to continue developing the activities of V2WORK sustainably after the project is completed.

In February 2020, prior to the Covid-19 outbreak, I attended a conference on the role of ASEAN-UK relationship in the change of the regional architecture held at the new ASEAN Secretariat Building in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Conference brought together an audience of researchers from the United Kingdom and representatives of various research institutes of universities within the region.

CVSEAS DOING RESEARCH ON THE REALITIES OF CLIMATE CHANGE IN HAU GIANG PROVINCECVSEAS DOING RESEARCH ON THE REALITIES OF CLIMATE CHANGE IN HAU GIANG PROVINCE

On March 3rd & 4th, 2021, the research team of the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies (CVSEAS), University of Social Sciences and Humanities had a meeting with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in their field trip to Hau Giang Province. The research team members were Dr. Tran Dinh Lam - Director of CVSEAS, Mr. Pham Thanh Thoi - Vice Director of CVSEAS, and Mr. Truong Dang Khoa - Union President of Phuc Khang Corporation. The research field trip was to identify and facilitate research activities, which help the local farmers to adapt to the climate change and thereby build a sustainable life for the local people in Hau Giang province in particular and the people in the Mekong Delta region in general.

LAUNCHING OF THE PATHWAY PROJECT FOR STUDENT IN PHILIPPINESLAUNCHING OF THE PATHWAY PROJECT FOR STUDENT IN PHILIPPINES On February 23rd, 2021, the virtual launch of the PATHWAY project was organized by the International Project Management Office (OGPI) -  University of Alicante,  Spain. The PATHWAY is funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ program, which aims at supporting students seeking jobs in the Philippines and creating a network between universities and companies in the Philippines simultaneously. The representative of the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies - Dr. Tran Dinh Lam attended the program as a special guest.  
TOURIST – 3RD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SUSTAINABLE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN SOUTHEAST ASIATOURIST – 3RD INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SUSTAINABLE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN SOUTHEAST ASIA During Feb 3 and 4, 2021 partner universities of TOURIST* project joined the broadcasted conference on sustainable tourism development in Southeast Asia via the Internet. The third international conference held by Kasetsart University (Thailand) is a part of TOURIST* activities - the project is funded by European Union through Erasmus+ Foundation.   
V2WORK RESULTS EVALUATION AT THU DAU MOT UNIVERSITYV2WORK RESULTS EVALUATION AT THU DAU MOT UNIVERSITY From the 19th to the 21st of January 2021, an evaluation workshop was carried out at Thu Dau Mot University, Binh Duong Province on the results of project V2WORK funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union. Invitation to observe the procedure was extended to representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities, namely Dr. Tran Dinh Lam – Director of the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Le Hoa Tranh – Director of the Center for Career Orientation and Human Resource Development, with fellow staff member Ms. Ho Cam Nhung.
