ACCEPTANCE AND HANDOVER OF EQUIPMENT FOR PROJECT TOURIST
, 02/03/2020 12:03In the morning of February 28th, an acceptance and handover of equipment for the “Supply and install equipment for project TOURIST* – Competence Center for the Development of Sustainable Tourism and Innovative Financial Management Strategies to Increase the Positive Impact of Local Tourism in Thailand and Vietnam” project was completed at Room D012 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), Dinh Tien Hoang campus by the Acceptance and Handover Board.
Members of the Acceptance and Handover Board included Dr. Phan Thanh Dinh – Vice Rector, Dr. Pham Thanh Duy – Head of General Administration Department, Dr. Tran Anh Tien – Head of Science Management and External Relations Department, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam – Director of Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies,MA. Ho Quang Vien – Head of Finance and Planning Department, MA. Nguyen Van Sinh – Head of Equipment Management Department, MA. Duong Van Tu – Deputy Head of Finance and Planning Department, MA. Ho Quang Trinh – Vice Chairman of Staff Union, MA. Nguyen Hong Van – Head of the People’s Inspection Board, MA. Bui Tran Vinh Thai – Deputy Head of Equipment Management Department, and MA. Nguyen Vo Hoang Mai – Deputy Head of Equipment Management Department.

During the session, the Acceptance and Handover Board crosschecked all equipment with a directory of equipment provided by FH Joanneum University, Austria.

The Acceptance and Handover Board’s evaluation is as follow: correct number of equipment, equipment in good condition, tags and build specifications are in accordance with the project’s listing. Based on the evaluation, the equipment was then decided to be put into operation.

After the completion of the acceptance and handover, the students selected to work in TOURIST Competence Center had an equipment operation training session. Later on, the students had an exchange with Dr. Tran Dinh Lam – Director of Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies on upcoming activities within the framework of TOURIST, of which will include various counseling and training sessions for students. The exchange was met with many questions and heated discussions from the selected students who exhibit great enthusiasm and anticipation for the opening of TOURIST Competence Center.
