ATTENDING 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF VIETNAM – NETHERLANDS PROGRAM FOR M.A.
, 15/05/2014 07:05Dr. Tran Dinh Lam attended the 20th anniversary of the Vietnam – Netherlands Program for M.A. (VNP) taking place in HCMC on April 19.
Dr. Tran Dinh Lam attended the 20th anniversary of the Vietnam – Netherlands Program for M.A. (VNP) taking place in HCMC on April 19.
Present at the anniversary were representatives of leaders from a number of universities in HCMC, directors and heads of offices, sub-institutes and centers, along with lecturers and over 400 undergraduates and graduates of the program.
The purpose of the anniversary was to mark the sustainable development of a graduate program with international standards, and this was also a chance for generations of students and teachers to remind themselves of well-established tradition of the program during the past 20 years.
VNP was officially launched Vietnam in 1994 in the frame of the training project for M.A. in Development Economics under collaboration between Netherlands’ universities and Vietnam’s funded by the Netherlands’ government. The project has been implemented by the International Institute of Social Sciences and the HCMC University of Economics since 1994.
