ATTENDING THE INDONESIA DAY IN HCMC

The Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies took part in the Indonesia Day held at the HCMC University of Social Sciences and Humanities (HCMC USSH) on June 04.
The Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies took part in the Indonesia Day held at the HCMC University of Social Sciences and Humanities (HCMC USSH) on June 04.
Present at the event were Tri Surya – Acting as Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia; Dr. Ngo Thi Phuong Lan, Vice President of HCMC USSH; Bang Anh Tuan (MA), Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Dr. Ho Minh Quang, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

The event drew attention of numerous participants who wished to explore Indonesian culture through their traditional dishes, games and costumes. A professional group of artists from Indonesia had interesting performances featuring Indonesian traditional art.
Besides, the Indonesia Day also attracted the participation of stalls from companies in HCMC and neighboring areas which want to market Indonesian products.
