Ms. Kim, who is the coordinator of the Global Saemaul Forum, has graduated from a university in the U.S and she is now following a graduate course in Korea. She was very pleased to help Dr. Lam deliver leaflets on the HEIP – LINK project to introduce it to the conference participants, which was in the frame of the International Symposium “Global Saemaul Forum 2013” held in Gyeongsan, Korea on 26-27 June, 2013 with the participation of some provincial leaders, the Yeungnam University’s president together with a large number of professors from other universities and institutes in Korea as well as more than 1,000 members of Saemaul Undong.
By having the HEIP – LINK project introduced at the conference, Dr. Lam hopes that researchers will realize the necessity for universities to have collaboration in sharing knowledge of Intellectual Property, helping to enhance mutual understanding between the European Community and the Southeast Asian countries in the integration process and reach a stable development community.
