INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ENDING THE HELP-LINK PROJECT AT THE JAGIELLONIAN UNIVERSITY, KRAKOW, POLAND

Dr. Tran Dinh Lam attended an international conference ending the HEIP-LINK Project, which is funded by EU, at the Jagiellonian University, Krakow (Poland) on October 26-27, 2014.

The Jagiellonian University with over 650 years of history is one of the oldest universities in the world. It is most well-known for teaching law and legal matters in Poland.

Opening the conference, Prof. hab. Jerzy Pisuliński, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration (Jagiellonian University) highly valued the role of the project in connecting universities around the globe. The project has facilitated technology transfer and grey matter of universities towards economic development.

Dr. Dariusz Kasprzycki (Jagiellonian University), an expert on intellectual property, gave a presentation on the web tool for IP management in transnational IPR cooperation.

Prof. Prakriti Kumar Gosh from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, a leading expert on technology transfer in universities, talked about IPRs aspects in context of international research.

In her closing remarks, Ms. Alexandra Mayr (University of Alicante, Spain) highlighted remarkable achievements which the project benefited member countries, including Argentina, Russia, India, China, Vietnam, Panama, Brazil, South Africa, Spain, Poland and Sweden. She also requested the participants to disseminate the project so more universities can share their experience.
