, 02/01/2013 15:01

On the occasion of his seminar at the University of Tokyo on December 05, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam came to Nagoya to meet Prof. Anabuki Makoto, who has a close relationship with Vietnam.

Having been to Vietnam since 1966, Prof. Anabuki Makoto has witnessed a lot of changes in Vietnam during the past decades.

The professor is proud of entitling himself as a humanitarian ambassador of Vietnamese students in Nagoya. He is always willing to provide assistance for Vietnamese students when they need to move out or go to hospital, etc.

Prof. Anabuki Makoto

Having recommended Japanese students to Vietnam to study and do research for many times, Prof. Anabuki Makoto hopes that the youth of the two countries will more and more promote exchanges to improve knowledge and mutual understanding.

The professor also created a website with the purpose of supporting eco-environment in Vietnam. He put great emphasis on the importance of social-economic development going together with eco-environment preservation. If eco-environment is destroyed, it will be very difficult and costly to recover it.

The professor wishes to offer support to human resource training for Vietnam and Vietnamese students studying abroad at Tokai Gaguen University, Nagoya.

With the hope to share with Vietnamese people, he also, through Saigon Times Foundation, donated a sum of money to a kindergarten in the Central Vietnam.
