MEETING WITH LONDON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY

The Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies just worked with Ms. Ruma Deb – the International Business Executive of London Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the HCM City University of Social Sciences and Humanities on November 15, 2012. 

Also present at the meeting were Mr. Bang Anh Tuan (M.A) – Head of the Office of International Cooperation and International Project Development, the HCM City University of Social Sciences and Humanities; Mr. Carl Woolf – International Trade Adviser of London International Trade Team; Mr. Nigel Mount – Director of Mount Laboratories; Mr. Richard Hill – Business Development Director of Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.

The meeting was an opportunity to have exchanges and collaborations in education, helping to establish a relationship among universities from Vietnam and those from all over the world. All the guests evaluated that Vietnam is a good market for vocational education with high potential to expand the training scale.

International cooperation is an essential requirement and a basis for human resource development in Vietnam in the future, aiming to train intellectuals with high quality so as to meet the need of industrialization and modernization of the country.
