The Salzburg Global Seminar invited speakers from many universities in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City. The highlight of the Seminar is to challenge the present and future leaders to solve the strategies related to global development. This is an opportunity to meet and exchange among representatives of countries and create conditions for them to know about the cultures and help them connect with each other.

Dr. Katherine McHugh Lichliter came to Vietnam for the first time. She and Sir Sean Doyle wanted the two governments to step up cooperation so that the Republic of Austria can support the development of Vietnam in various fields, and above all, the link between the two countries.

The representatives of Austria are very interested in education in Vietnam. Dr. Georg Heindl particularly wanted to support Vietnam in human resource training, especially occupational training. They expressed a good impression about Vietnam on the dramatic changes in society and economy and desired to develop a bridge of friendship between the Republic of Austria and Vietnam, and soon to support projects in education and training for Vietnam.
