THE TRIP TO TAN A PAPER COMPANY AND ICHIBAN TOFU COMPANY
, 05/11/2014 14:11This October 16. Prof. Trần Đình Lâm together with Prof. Phương accompanied Mr. Ishida from Japan to visit and conduct a survey in 2 Thais Companies operating in Vietnam.
They are Tan A paper company in Bình Chiểu Industrial Zone, Thủ Đức and Ichiban tofu company in Tân Bình Industrial Zone. The interviews with each company lasted for mostly 2 hours with the questions from Mr. Ishida and the enthusiastic responses from the company's representatives (all of them are either top manager or director).
At Tan A Paper, after the conversation in the meeting room, we were given the invite to have a visit to their factory, where we observed the working place and their modern machinery. At Ichiban, we were welcomed by the Thai director of the company, who spoke very good Vietnamese and Thai, and was so hospitable we had a very long conversation with him about his journey of setting up and developing the company. Mr. Ishida was happy with the result collected from that day and with the information from those interesting conversations.
