In his speech at the conference, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Vo Van Sen highly valued the continuous development of Korean studies since Vietnam and Korea signed the official agreement of diplomatic relations in 1992. Besides 15 universities and colleges including Korean language in their curriculum, it is also taught at 6 Sejong Centers and Foreign Language Centers of many universities. Remarkable achievements have positively attributed to the increasingly demand for human resources in the cooperative relationship of Vietnam and Korea in numerous fields.

This can be indicated through investment activities of big Korean corporations in Vietnam such as Samsung, LG, etc. The chairman hopes that there will be more exchange programs between the two countries, especially more research projects among universities.
At the conference, both countries’ scholars and scientists focused on discussing research approaches and innovations in Korean teaching and Korean studies in Vietnam as well as development prospects in the future.
