During his attendance in the International Conference on Climate Change: Impact and Responses at Washington D.C, America, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam paid a visit to Prof. Larry Berman at George State University.

The two recalled Prof. Berman’s visits to Vietnam including the time when he met some close friends of the infamous spy Pham Xuan An, those who once dreamed of creating a strong, independent and peaceful Vietnam.

Prof. Berman believed that Vietnam young generation will continue to be more energetic and creative in the integration process with the world given its potential. He also hoped that this young generation will continue walking on the economic development path with more open policies to attract foreign resources.

On this occasion, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam introduced the REACT project and some information on the upcoming International Conference at Vietnam in September. Prof. Berman spoke highly of the project meaning and importance in sustainable development. He promised to introduce this information to other colleagues at George State University.
