VISITING SCT GAS AND SRITHAI SUPERWAR COMPANIES LIMITED

Dr. Tran Dinh Lam, together with Prof. Ishida (Japan) and Prof. Aung Min (Myanmar) paid a visit to the SCT Gas Co., Ltd., at the Phu My Industrial Park, Ba Ria on the morning of October 18^th, 2014.

The company shared the difficulties facing them at the present as well as challenges in the future. Stories of a Vietnam-based Thai company left the visitors interesting lessons.

On the same day, the group visited the Song Than Industrial Park in Binh Duong to meet with the director of Srithai Superware Co., Ltd. Besides his mother tongue, this Thai director can speak English and Vietnamese fluently. Unlike other business managers, he not only talked about his company’s affairs but also shared his opinions on human resources in 4 markets: Vietnam, Thailand, Japan and Myanmar, which attracted special attention of Prof. Ishida and Mr. Min Aung.

Earlier, the group had visited several Vietnam-based foreign enterprises. Those visits provided better understanding of operation systems, business activities and culture of such companies, bringing a lot of benefits to Japanese and Myanmarese professors.
