BUSINESS BRUNCH BETWEEN BUSINESS LEADERS AND FACULTY HEADS ABOUT V2WORK PROJECT PLANNING IN 2021

On December 26th, 2020, the executive committee of project V2WORK had a business brunch with the business representatives and the faculty heads on discussing the operational assessment of the Center for Career Orientation and planning further cooperation between the higher education institutions and business units in order to improve graduates’ employability.

The meeting had the participation of Dr. Tran Dinh Lam - Director of CVSEAS, Mr. Tran Van Lieng - CEO of Vietnam Cacao Joint Stock Company, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lua - Do Gia Architecture Construction Joint Stock Company, and Dr. Bui Hai Dang - Dean of Faculty of International Relations. In the meeting, Mr. Tran Van Lieng highly appreciated the efforts and cooperation of the executive committee of project V2WORK and Faculty of International Relations in successfully organizing the Career Day 2 in 2020, attracting the participation of a significant number of students. Mr. Tran Van Lieng said that Vinacacao would continue to accompany the V2WORK project in 2021.

After the speech of Mr. Tran Van Lieng and other business representatives, the executive committee of project V2WORK assessed the operational process in 2020 and made plans in 2021 for the V2WORK project as well as the Center for Career Orientation and Human Resource Development. Dr. Lam emphasized that in the growth of Vietnamese economy in the context of the pandemic, making full use of internal resources by strengthening the workforce and providing qualified and high-quality human resources to the society were the essential points. The cooperation among the faculties, Center for Career Orientation ,and business units, hence, played a fundamental role in improving the internal resources and strengthening graduates’ employability.

At the end of the meeting, the business leaders expressed their appreciation for the practicality of the project and showed the positive prospects for further cooperation in 2021 to enhance and strengthen the USSH graduates’ employability.
