, 18/12/2020 14:12
On December 11th, 2020, the representatives of the Center for Southeast Asian Studies attended the online conference 2020 between India, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Indonesia about the topic: “Asian Management Education and Advancing Women in Business”. The conference was held by Providence University, Taiwan with the participation of economists and experts in business management from a variety of countries and organizations.
Guest speakers of the conference
The international symposium focused on 2 main topics: training in business management and strengthening the role of women in business. During the conference, the speakers shared and discussed the importance of advanced teaching methods in business management. The topic about the role of women in business attracted the attention of many scholars at the conference.

Apart from the teaching method, the majority of the representatives agreed that the Asian countries need to cooperate, exchange, and learn from mistakes through international conferences. Therefore, those countries can gradually optimal their education system in business management by updating and advancing the syllabus to suit the circumstances of each country.

Through this conference, the Center hopes that in the future there will be more and more opportunities for opening exchange culture programs, visiting and exploring the Vietnam culture and society for students in Providence University in Taiwan with the purpose of promoting Vietnam to the world. Also, this is a great chance to broaden the student exchange network for both national and international students. Obviously, the exchange programs with international symposiums and projects not only cement the friendship between many countries but also create a practical meaning in education and training as a whole.
