On 29th, 30th, and 31st October 2019, the national conference of the V2WORK project with the highlight on “The forum for graduates’ employment and entrepreneurship” was organized in the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH).

The 2019 Enterprising Idea Competition "Người nhân văn khởi nghiệp" co-organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM-USSH), the Youth Union – USSH Students Union, the Alumni Businessman’s Club and the Steering Group of V2WORK was held from August 22, 2019 to October 26, 2019. The event attracted more than 60 students from many higher education institutes across Ho Chi Minh City.

In the morning of October 10th, USSH's Job Fair 2019 was hosted at Thu Duc Campus of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM – USSH). The event was organized by the Student Affairs Office and the Center for Career Orientation and Human Resource Development, VNUHCM – USSH.
“Young people should try their hand at start-up”, shared Dr. Tran Dinh Lam, Director of the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies and guest speaker at the British Council sponsored discussion on start-ups between entrepreneurs and students of the Faculty of Education, USSH-VNUHCM, held on the 15th of September, 2019.

On June 19th, the Internal Replication Seminar 5 “Climate change and other hazards: Impacts and responses in Mekong Delta” was organized at University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMUSSH).

Within the framework of TOURIST project, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam has participated the 3rd Consortium Meeting at University of Payap, Chiangmai, Thailand from June 12 to June 14.
On June 15th, 2019, the Employment and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Forum took place at University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMUSSH), with the attendance of over 20 businesses, the University’s Director Board, 4 lecturers or educators from in and out of the Faculty of International Relations (FIR) as well as 141 students and 17 alumni of the FIR.
Within the framework of REACT project, the 3rd National Training on green growth in cities was organized on May 31st.
On the afternoon of May 30th, the 2nd National Training on “Economy and Climate Change: Theories and Practices” took place at University of Social Sciences and Humanities with many students, lecturers, and researchers in attendance.

On June 4th, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam attended the conference "Potentials and solutions to develop culture – tourism village in Cho Lach district on the foundation of rural tourism development", taking place in Cho Lach district, Ben Tre province. On this occasion, the Doctor also introduced the TOURIST project to the participants.
