On July 23th, 2018, following the objectives of REACT ToT2, the training titled “Assessment of socio - ecological resilience for livelihood adaptation with drought and salinization in Mekong delta” was held at University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City, with guest speaker Assoc. Prof. PhD. Nguyen Hong Quan from Center of Water Management and Climate Change (WACC).
On June 14, 2018, “Formalised Procedures: Intellectual Property, Contractual Framework, Internal Approval Process” workshop was held by Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian studies (CVSEAS) – University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) and Thu Dau Mot University (TDMU).
On June 13, 2018, Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian studies (CVSEAS) – University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) cooperated with Thu Dau Mot University (TDMU) to hold a workshop themed “Research Methodology; Peer Review; Commercial Appraisal” in order to enhance research capacities of lecturers, students as well as specialized staff working at the university.

On June 26th, 2018, a representative of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) at Ho Chi Minh City branch has come to University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) to prepare for the launching of Work Package 5 (WP5) in V2WORK project funded by European Union (EU).

On June 29th, 2018, “Exploitation and Commercialization: Research Evaluation, Spin-off Creation” workshop was held with a guest speaker Tran Van Lieng, Chairman/President of Vinacacao Corporation.

On June 28th, 2018 “Research management: Creating a research portfolio; structure of a knowledge transfer office, strategies for business engagement” workshop was held with attendance of a prestigious guest speaker – Prof. Dr. Nguyen Danh Thao, Head of International Relations Department of University of Technology, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.

On June 1 and 2, lecturers from Tra Vinh University attended workshop themed “Strengthening national research and innovation capacities and other goals of the project”.

On May 17th, the discussion on “Comparative analysis of the tourism industry and sustainable tourism efforts in Thailand, Vietnam and the EU – Case study: Sustainability of Urban Tourism in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam” was organized at University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMUSSH).
