It was expected that Forval Corporation would collaborate with Ho Chi Minh City in promoting tourism seminars in June. Mr. Hida believed that if the great potential of tourism - especially in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam in general - was exploited and invested properly, together with the training and development of human resources, it would make a significant development in the future. The time working as a diplomat has helped Hida gain extensive experience and knowledge of culture which laid an intellectual foundation to contribute to the development of Vietnam and bring the two countries together to focus on human resources development.
When referring to a Vietnamese slogan “Please the coming guests and happy all customers”, Mr. Hida shared that if Vietnam wants to act as the motto, Vietnam should prepare well on the professional work, focus on training human resources, so we could create special attraction for tourism. He highly appreciated the role of overseas Vietnameses and PhD. students as a bridge when they came back to work in Vietnam. In addition, he was also proud of the association between Angimex Company and Japan in developing the Japanese rice varieties in An Giang province - the South West of Vietnam.
The meeting also had Dr. Kikuchi Tadashi, the lecturer at Teikyo University.

Mr. Kikuchi paid a pre-advance visit to industrial zones in Vietnam with the hope to offer internship programs to Japanese students. He said that Japan expected to send students to learn and work overseas, expose to real life experience within six months and then return to Japan to work. Thereby, he hoped the connection between Vietnamese and Japanese would get closer and closer. Japanese small and medium companies would have more opportunities to invest and develop. To achieve that, he hoped Japanese universities would be the bridge of the two countries.
