In the session, the Acceptance and Handover Board cross checked and evaluated the parcel of books based on the number of books and their condition which are stated in the contract; afterward, they agreed with bringing these books into use later on. This parcel of books, as part of project TOURIST, includes 69 English books mainly talking about tourism relations with the economy, culture, society, etc. and tourism from different perspectives. This is considered as an invaluable reference for lecturers and students toward sustainable development tourism in the near future.

After cross-checking and evaluating, Dr. Ngo Thanh Loan expressed her appreciation to the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies not only because of this parcel of books but also for their dedication to the University throughout many projects. After that, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam recommended putting all the books in the University’s Library so that they are easily accessible and available for readers.
