MEETING WITH UNIVERSITY OF JIGYO, JAPAN

On November 18, 2010 Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies attended the meeting with University Jigyo, Japan, led by Prof. Masato Yukawa, President, Prof. Kenichi UDA, and Prof. Mamoru Egawa, head of admissions office. Meeting the delegation was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Van Sen, President and MSc. Bang Anh Tuan, Head of International Cooperation, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam, Director of CVSEAS, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University of Ho Chi Minh City.

In the discussion Prof. Masato Yukawa mentioned the training of human resources and willingness to cooperate to help Vietnam. Prof. Masato Yukawa invited Vietnamese students to take MBA course in Japan. This is the program “Career planning” for SMEs. With well-qualified teaching staff including professors, associate professors and doctors, University of Jigyo is one of the high-qualìied universities in Japan. This is the premise for Jigyo University to be able to help train human resources for Vietnam.

As for University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Van Sen wanted to cooperate with University of Jigyo. The President officially appointed MSc. Bang Anh Tuan to promote the cooperation project with University of Jigyo and Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies will implement the program with this university.
