REACT PROJECT - STRENGTHENING CLIMATE CHANGE RESEARCH AND INNOVATION CAPACITIES IN CAMBODIA, LAOS AND VIETNAM

The project "strengthening climate change REsearch And innovation CapaciTies in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam - REACT" is cordinated by the University of Alicante, Spain in collaboration with the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies. This project will last for 3 years (2017 - 2019) and be granted by Erasmus+ of the European Union.

REACT project will not only focus on Universities and Research Institutions in Vietnam but also in Laos and Cambodia. The practicality of the project will help improve the capacity of research works in the field of "climate change", a topic receiving much attention these days since the global warming phenomenon is actually yielding negative impacts on human life and the whole ecosystem. This project will also include training sessions to develop the capacity of research staff as well as research methodologies within the field of "climate change", aiming at improving the efficiency and value of relevant researches.

Besides the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies, The Faculty of Geography of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Ho Chi Minh City, and the University of Agriculture and Forestry of Hue will also participate in this project.
