ATTENDING THE AID PROJECT SIGNING CEREMONY BETWEEN USSH AND JAPANESE CONSULATE GENERAL IN HỒ CHÍ MINH CITY
, 20/03/2009 20:03On the morning of February 26th, 2009, Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies joined the ceremony of signing an aid project between University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Japanese Consulate General in Hồ Chí Minh city. To support the research on Japan as well as to create advantages for teachers and students of Japanese studies, Japanese Consulate General agreed on implementing the project “Japanese cultural non-refundable aid on the small scale – providing the equipment and facilities to study Japanese” funded by Japanese government with the aid of USD67,632.

Delivering speech at the signing ceremony, Mr Mizuki Ikuo – Japanese General Consul expressed his happiness in this occasion. He hoped that there would be more projects bridging Japan and Vietnam in the future, especially in helping the students in Japanese studies with better educational environment in order to provide human resources good at Japanese to meet the needs of recruitment for Japanese companies in Vietnam.
