ATTENDING THE SEMINAR: OPPORTUNITY FOR COOPERATION OF TRADING WITH JAPANESE ENTERPRISES

On July 9th, 2009, Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies took part in the seminar: Opportunity for cooperation of trading with Japanese enterprises. The seminar was held by Dream Incubator Việt Nam (DI) in coordination with Vietnam chamber of commerce and industry (VCCI) in order to announce the foundation of Asian Industrial Fund of DI. 

Mr Hori Koichi (Chairman of DI administrative committee) and Mr Le Dang Doanh (Institute for Development Research) presented useful and practical knowledge in the current stage to Vietnamese enterprises. Both of them emphasized the necessity of making a long-term plans because short-term investments could make only instant profits. Since the foundation of DI company in 2007, Mr Hori Koichi has contacted over 100 Vietnamese enterprises. In order to help Vietnamese enterprises operate effectively, he prepared the project "Asian Industrial Fund of DI" The investment of the fund is estimated approximately 6 billion yen. The fund will support Vietnamese enterprises in technology, knowledge and experience in some long-term industries. Asian Industrial Fund of DI will bridge Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises in the future.
