CVSEAS ATTENDED ASEAN – NORTH EAST INDIA INVESTMENT & TRADE OPPORTUNITIES SUMMIT IN HO CHI MINH CITY
, 05/08/2009 12:08From 12 February to 14 February 2009, CVSEAS attended ASEAN – North East India Investment & Trade Opportunities Summit in Ho Chi Minh City which was organized by Indian Chamber of Commerce and Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Government of India in partnership with Consulate General of India, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam.
The three-day event included Conference sessions on Agriculture & Food Processing, Infrastructure, Tourism, Session on Regional Integration of ASEAN countries followed by an Exhibition to showcase the business potential of North East region of India. Besides, the Summit aslo brought attendants opportunities of investing in cane and bamboo sector for environment and pollution decrease.
With the purpose of promoting bilateral trade and investment between the two countries, the Summit was considered a good opportunity for enterprises of the two countries. It was cooperate, learning experience and together figure out solutions to economic recovery in such status of today global crisis.
