CVSEAS PARTICIPATED IN TRAINING COURSES ON INTERNATIONAL INTEGRATION KNOWLEDGE FOR KEY CADRES AT ALL LEVELS IN TIỀN GIANG PROVINCE

The program was held by the cabinet of Vietnam National University - Hồ Chí Minh City in co-ordination with the Directorate of Tiền Giang Political School on March 24, 2009. In his opening speech, Dr. Nguyễn Tiến Dũng, Chief of the Cabinet of Vietnam National University - Hồ Chí Minh city, praised the sensitivity of the local authorities in creating favorable conditions for the leading cadres to approach the knowledge of international integration, especially in the current context when the whole world has been facing the financial crisis.

In the progress of globalization, to integrate into the world Vietnam should equip its human sources with practical knowledge. The local key cadres have to understand the challenges of the world financial crisis in order to support and help the laborers find jobs abd bridge the farmers and the local enterprises mutually to bring their provincial products to the world markets.

During the program, Dr. Trần Đình Lâm introduced the successful economic models like the ones on the webpage showing Vietnamese agriculture to the world and directing the investment in Hòa Lộc mangoes. Hòa Lộc mango is a famous trademark in Vietnam. The price of this product must be very high in the markets of Europe, USA, Japan... if the province invests in the trademark with the criteria of clean product, not using pesticide, chemical fertilizers. Besides, the province may set up the areas specializing in Nàng Hương rice with high quality friendly with environment. That the agricultural areas specializing, clean and green have the agricultural specialists and businessmen consult and enlarge the markets will promise Tiền Giang farmers a bright future. 

In today's context, the training course gets the practical significance for the development of Tiền Giang province. The learners can approach a lot of new useful knowledge which they hope will be applied to the practical situation of their province.
