EXCHANGE WITH VESAMO - ASSOCIATION OF PEOPLE LOVING VIETNAM IN SOUTH KOREA
, 26/05/2009 00:05On April 23, 2009, Vesamo – Association of people loving Vietnam in South Korea paid a visit to Hồ Chí Minh City and held an exchange on the 34th anniversary of liberating South Vietnam and 14th anniversary of friendship relation between Hồ Chí Minh City and Busan City.
Attending the exchange were Ass. Prof. Dr. Võ Văn Sen (Rector of University of Social Sciences and Humanties, Hồ Chí Minh City) and Dr. Trần Đình Lâm (Director of CVSEAS). Vesamo was founded by professors of Busan Foreign Languages University (South Korea) in 2004. The members of Vesamo are rectors and professors of universities. They are all Koreans with the same love and enthusiasm and want to be close shoulder by shoulder with the Vietnamese, and bridge the friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
Sharing in the exchange, Mr. Lee Sang Min, the president of Vesamo expressed his ideas and contribution to the cooperation program of developing human resources between Vietnam and South Korea. Under the contact of Prof. Bae Yang Soo (Dean of the Faculty of Vietnamese language at Busan Foreign Languages University and Secretary General of Vesamo), University of Social Sciences and Humanities, HoChiMinh city and Busan University signed a cooperation and exchange program between the two universities. Nowadays, South Korea has the most investment projects in Vietnam. Mr Lee Sang Min is also in hope of the future of closer and more intimate friendship between two countries. This is an annual exchange of the Association and it will be maintained in the future.
