The teachers and students of both universities participated in it.Both sides shared their ideas of the topic on the relationship between Vietnam and Japan in the context of world’s current crisis.
Doctor Tran Dinh Lam’s speech on the twenty-year stage of economy in Vietnam (1985-2005) brought general knowledge to participants. Also, Dr Tran Dinh Lam emphasized the cooperation as well as the support of Japanese individuals and organizations for Vietnam in many fields, including, for example, education and economy. After Dr Tran Dinh Lam’s speech, Japanese and Vietnamese students excitedly discussed the current issues of both countries.
Japan is one of the economic powerful countries. The present generations are enjoying the material values of the preceding one. It is necessary for them to know how a country like Vietnam develops. It is this purpose that every year professor Tsuboi (faculty of political economics- Waseda University) often takes his students to visit Hoa Binh village for disabled children. In Vietnam one should know not only the poetic scenery but also the facts how Vietnam is facing the difficulties and developing day by day. Those are what professor Tsuboi wants to impart to his students.
