MEETING WITH NAKAGAWA HIDEHIKO, CHAIRMAN OF INTERNET SERVICE CORP. AND NHAT TINH VIET CO., LTD

On 19 November 2008, Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies (CVSEAS) welcomed and met with Nakagawa Hidehiko, Chairman of Internet Service Corp. and Nhật Tinh Việt Co., Ltd.

Presenting at the meeting was Mr. Kubozono Eizo who has supported USSH and CVSEAS for ten years so far.

Knowing that CVSEAS is running IT Japanese Class, Mr. Nakagawa has paid a visit and given the class a DVD set of “Learning IT with Japanese”. It is a practical program with detailed, plain teaching method and instructions. The program has been very popular in Japan and was transferred to more than 100 television channels in this country.

Besides the role of Chairman of Internet Service Corp. and Nhật Tinh Việt Co., Ltd (a branch of Internet Service Corp), a member of Director Board of Nguyen Hoang Group, a financial consultant for Vietnamese businesses, Nakagawa Hidehiko is known as a “Vietnamese-soul” businessman (“I was a Vietnamese in the previous incarnation” – Lao Dong Newspaper on 24 Feb. 2008.) whose family has moved to Vietnam for work and study. With his great contributions to cooperation of economic and educational development as well as human resources training for Vietnam and Japan, the visit is no exception of helping from the heart of “Vietnamese-soul” businessman.
