MR. VO TA HAN RECEIVING THE ENGLISH BOOKS WORTH VND 34 BILLION FOR COLLEGES
, 27/10/2009 16:10On the morning of October 15th, 2009, at International University (Vietnam National University-HCMC) took place a reception of books donated by "Books4Vietnam-Books for Vietnam" Organisation VN2020 and Opening Ceremony of Library "VN2020-International University, VNU-HCM".
This opening ceremony was attended by Asociate Prof.Dr. Phan Thanh Bình, Rector of Vietnam National University- HCMC and Mr Võ Tá Hân, the founder of VN2020 who transferred to the University 36,481 copies (6,784 titles) specializing in English worth VND 34 billion. Mr Võ Tá Hân is very enthusiastic in developing Vietnamese young intellectuals. Among these copies, 20,887 are kept in University library and the rest will be shared for universities and colleges all over the country.
