NANYANG TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY (SINGAPORE) CONNECTS UNIVERSITY AND ENTERPRISES
, 01/04/2009 20:04One of the most famous universities founded by overseas Chinese, University of Nanyang Technology (Singapore) organizes programs of granting scholarships and student exchanges with Universities of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, HCMC) every year.
Annually, University of Nanyang Technology sends eight students to the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies (USSH, VNU-HCMC) to study within 6 months. During the time of their study at University, the students have chances to go in practice to factories and companies in Singapore Industry park (Bình Dương). These practical journeys help the students contact the practice and learn experiences even at university. A year's studying and living in Vietnam is not a long period, but it is sufficient for Nanyang students to understand more about country and people of Vietnam. When coming back to homeland, they will certainly bridge two countries in commerce, economy and culture.
