SEMINAR: ''DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES PROMOTES ECONOMY STABLY'' WITH OSAKA SANGYO UNIVERSITY
, 06/03/2009 19:03On February 21st, 2009 Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies attended the seminar: “Development of human resources promotes economy stably” held by Osaka Sangyo University (Japan) and Economic University – Hồ Chí Minh city at Movenpick Hotel. Attending the seminar were Mr Minoru Kiryu – director of Center for Asian community studies and other professors from Asian area.
The seminar mainly dealt with the development of human resources in the context that the world economy has been in the current crisis. In order to train the human resources, Japan has invested in the education a lot. The programs of teacher and student exchange at Osaka Sangyo are the typical example. Exchange of teachers and students not only expresses the international spirit but also is the way to train the talents.
Mr Akira Takamasu – economic professor, faculty of sociology of Kansai University emphasized that development of human resources would make the country prosperous. In order to obtain that, a good policy on human resources is inevitable. When human resources are taken care of, the social development will be stable. As a result, the right development of the countries in the future is the investment in developing the human resources sustainably. The scholars from Thailand, Laos, Cambodia took part in the seminar and shared their views excitedly. All of them wished for sustainable development for the commonwealth of Southeast Asia.
