SEMINAR WITH THE STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF INSDUSTRY AT WASEDA UNIVERSITY, JAPAN

At the seminar with 60 Students of the Faculty of Insdustry at Waseda University on May 19th, 2010, Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies presented the innovation process of Vietnamese economy and the progress of the equitization of state enterprises.

Waseda University students raised the issues of concern: how to proceed shares and what necessary to do to benefit shares of employees in business and avoid the loss of state assets , in the process of equitization. It is advisable to avoid equitization benefit only for a group of people. The training of human resources and the role of education is also mentioned by students in the process of economic development in Vietnam. If the human resources were not prepared and and well-trained, it would be difficult in the process of industrialization.

Japanese society has strongly developed its economy almost to saturate social needs. Professor Koji Domon 6 times has been to Vietnam to visit and do his research on copyright. He said Japanese students need to visit Vietnam to exchange with the studentsto know the efforts in economic development, in very difficult conditions. It will help students have a more meaningful life back in Japan. The program is expected to start in September 2010.
