TALK ON RESEARCH PROJECT FOR ENVIRONMENT-BASED SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF ECONOMIC - SOCIAL STRUCTURE OF PROF. TAKEI ATSUO (TOKYO JOHO UNIVERSITY,JAPAN)
, 02/04/2009 18:04On the morning of March 13th, 2009 Priof. Takei Atsuo (Tokyo University of Information Sciences, Japan) gave a talk to the learners of the IT Japanese on research project for the sustainable development of economic and social structure dependent on the environment of the eastern coast of Asia at CVSEAS.
The sustainable development of economic and social structure dependent on the stable environment was emphasized at the talk. The satellites used to serve the project have been monitoring the environmental changes. That the economic and social structure develops and does not harm the environment has been implemented by the research project. The project consists of three phrases: The first phrase began in 2000, the second in 2005 and the third in 2008. In the coming 5 years the project is expected to make great contribution to the global envinronment in the future, especially in Southeast Asia.

Dr. Trần Đình Lâm, Director of CVSEAS, chairing the talk shared his experience via a story that Japanese farmers volunteered to help Vietnamese gardeners grow beautiful and delicious apples in Lam Dong. It took the learners a lot of time to ask professor Takei Atsuo many questions on the environmental issues.
