THE ART OF SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS COMMUNICATION

Communication skills play an important role in business and they are key points of business success in many circumstances. With the purpose of helping businesses enhance their communication skills, Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies (CVSEAS) in collaboration with Truman College, Chicago, USA hosted a seminar on Exceptional Business Communication Skills in the Dinh Tien Hoang campus of University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Prof. Michael Lavin was the guest speaker of the seminar.

In the seminar, Professor Lavin presented and discussed key points in the art of business communication skills such as the rules of communication, the art of becoming a master communicator, how to build up good relationship with customers, how to attain a collective approach with five senses, the art of dealing and making the first impression.

Participants of the seminar were greatly impressed by the lively presentation with practical illustrations of the Professor. He especially gave many chances to participants to practice communication skills. Prof. Lavin said, calm and confidence are keys that lead to communication success in business.
