TRAINING PROGRAM IN VIETNAM FOR JAPANESE EMPLOYEES FROM TEIJIN LTD. COMPANY
, 08/06/2018 09:06Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian studies (CVSeas) has collaborated with Japanese human resource development company - Alue Corporation - to provide a training program for employees of Teijin Ltd. Chemical Company.
The program, held within seven days from Apil 19 to 25, included various activities related to interacting, learning and researching for both Vietnamese and Japanese participants so that the Teijin employees could learn about Vietnamese culture and businesses.
The Japanese participants were hosted by students from University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH). Not only did these students provide a thoughtful support, they also became their Japanese counterpart’s guides introducing various attractions, dishes as well as local habits and cultures. It is out of question that these students played a significant role in helping Japanese participants understand the culture and people better.
In addition to taking part in City Tour to learn more about Vietnamese culture and people, the participants also visited various businesses to be introduced to how business in Vietnam operates on daily basis.
The Alue’s training program is an annual event held at different countries such as India, China, and Malaysia. The program aims at developing and strengthening Japanese workforce, creating opportunities for these employees to have an open-minded view as well as good understanding of the neighboring countries and other countries in the area in terms of business culture and environment. The program also plays a significant role in Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relation. University of Social Sciences and Humanities was chosen with honor to be Alue’s partner for this year.
In the afternoon of May 25, the training program was ended with presentations from participants about their experience, new knowledge as well as their opinion on the solution for several issues in Vietnam’s market, as well as evaluation of this year program’s efficiency. The program received notably significant evaluations with teachers, as well as Alue representatives, acknowledging the thorough preparation from Vietnamese hosts, and the significant improvement in Japanese participants’ understanding.
