WORKSHOP: THAMMASAT & EFMD SEMINARS ON PARTNERSHIPS FOR SDGS

On November 22, 2021, the Webinar "Thammasat & EFMD Seminars on Partnerships for SDGs" was held online, co-hosted by Thammasat University (Thailand) and the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). The seminar had the attendance of leaders from more than 50 institutes around ASEAN. Representatives of Center for Vietnam and Southeast Asian Studies also participated in the workshop.
 
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Assoc. Gasinee Witoonchart - Board of Trustees of the EFMD Foundation, President of Thammasat University underscored that the event was a special opportunity for leaders of Thammasat University and the EFMD Foundation to share experience and discuss effective educational models for the future. She hoped that the discussion would help foster close cooperation among educational institutes in the network.
Assoc. Gasinee Witoonchart spoke at the opening of the workshop.
As a representative of EFMD, Prof. Dr. Eric Cornuel - Chairman of EFMD indicated the importance of new policies introduced by  EFMD. He said that EFMD was a non-profit, globally recognized membership organization, with more than 1000 members across 90 countries. He believed that with the network, EFMD could easily connect, cooperate and help members in educational management, international research and projects.

Furthermore, projects that won excellence awards were also introduced at the conference. Some outstanding projects are "Live for good" - European Center for Executive Development (CEDEP), "Association of Entrepreneurship Development" - SKOLKOVO School of Management, Moscow and "Sustainable Community Enterprises" - Thammasat University. Those are effective educational models which promote cooperation between higher education institutes, businesses and the community towards the goal of social sustainability.
