A NATIONAL SCIENCE WORKSHOP IN HA NOI

On January 23, 2010, CVSEAS joined a national science workshop “Innovation in science and technology to improve the quality of training of human resources on economics-business administration in universities to serve socio-economic development"

The workshop was held at the National Economics University, Hanoi, with the attendance of Prof. Dr. Ta Duc Thinh-Chief of Department of Science, Technology and Environment, Ministry of Education and Training; Dr. Le Quang Thanh-Deputy Director of Department of Social Science and Nature, Ministry of Science and Technology, and over 70 universities in the country. The workshop focused on the 77 articles of the scientists. With 5 official speeches and 9 opinions in the hall, the workshop emphasized the important role of scientific research and economic management of the universities for the renovation of construction and socio-economic development of the country.

Prof. Dr Nguyen Van Nam stated the issues essential to be solved in the workshop. How should we renew the management of scientific research activities and economic management of the universities? What should we do to enhance the cohesion of the collaboration in training to improve the quality of training human resources and economy - business administration? Where is the solution to promoting economic collaboration in universities bounding with practice? The speakers exchanged, shared and set out optimal solutions, the need for collaboration between businesses and universities in the process of human resource training to meet employment demands the most effectively.

Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Science and Technology directly answered the questions of the speakers and, again, praised the role of universities in the integration trend.

Through the workshop, representatives of the universities agreed to sign the contract of training programs in business administration of the 40 universities in the country.
