OPENING CEREMONY OF SHOWROOM
, 12/03/2010 14:03On February 4th, 2010 Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies participated in "Exhibition on Selling Gifts on New Year 2010" held by the Investment and Trade Promotion Center of Ho Chi Minh City (ITPC) at 92-96 Nguyen Hue, district 1, HCMC.
For many years, Nguyen Hue Flower Street has become an indispensable sight of the city people and tourists at home and abroad in the spring. To support Vietnamese enterprises to introduce their products on the flower street, the Investment and Trade Promotion Center of HCMC organized the " Exhibition on Selling Gifts on Tet holiday”.
The program with the participation of the Saigon Supermarket Marketing has introduced the products meeting the nutritional standards for health and safety of consumers and has received the support of customers for years.
In addition, also the participation of more than 10 enterprises of the sector in fine art, textiles, food and beverages etc.. with nearly 500 product samples on display. In addition to the method of support in commercial contact such as “marketing for spot export", "Marketing for export over the network" and "Information Portal electronic transactions - MIS " it can be said that for the first time enterprises participate in showroom of product introduction by means of direct sales to consumers, rather than just the traditional exhibition.
This really is a practical and meaningful activity, in coordinating with the air to welcome Tet in 2010 taking place vibrantly in Ho Chi Minh city. An ITPC leader said at the opening of the exhibition: "The meaning of this program is to introduce the products with prestige and high quality to consumers, encouraging and mobilizing the Vietnamese to be familiar with using Vietnamese goods. We truly desire to become a reliable bridge between enterprises and consumers in Vietnam. "
