For each module, there was a workshop conducted to deliver the content of the module. While only two were held at University of Social Sciences and Humanities on 28th and 29th of June, the other four were held at Thu Dau Mot University and Tra Vinh University.

The workshop attracted many lecturers, researchers, students as well as representatives from different units. Attendees’ backgrounds were rather diverse, which contributed to the workshop’s success, practicality and relatability.

Dr. Tran Dinh Lam warmed up the atmosphere with a speech introducing ENHANCE project, its objectives as well as goals of each workshop. Moreover, the professor introduced and expressed his heartfelt appreciation for Prof. Dr. Nguyen Danh Thao – workshop’s guest speaker, together with all the participants.

Having had hands-on experience, professor was able to give an informative, yet easy-to-follow lecture, on steps needed to take to create a portfolio, structure of a typical knowledge transfer office of a unit, as well as strategies to engage and attract businesses.

Following up on the topic, Prof. Danh Thao shared his experience and advices regarding how he reached out to businesses, had his researches funded and how he was able to give his research an applicable purpose to attract businesses. For each section, our guest speaker made sure everyone understood and was clear about the steps and objectives before he moved on to the following section. His experience provided participants with a better understanding of both possible difficulties and some of the solutions, which is a valuable knowledge needed for participants to be able to implement it into their practice.
