Dr. Tran Dinh Lam attended the ceremony of signing of memorandum of understanding between the Center for Southeast Asian Studies of Northern Illinois University (NIU) and the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies (CVSEAS), University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), VNU-HCMC, at NIU on November 11, 2014.

On his business trip to Europe, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam had a meeting with Prof. John Ren CHEN, University of Innsbruck (the Republic of Austria), who has conducted a lot of studies on macro-economic development, globalization and poverty reduction.

On the framework of his study in Vietnam, Dr. Masami Ishida, Institute of Developing Economies and the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies continued to visit Baconco Company at the Phu My Industrial Park in Tan Thanh, Ba Ria Vung Tau and Starprint Vietnam Co., Ltd. at the Amata Industrial Park in Long Binh, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai on October 20th, 2014.
