The 2nd training workshop of the ENHANCE Project was held at the Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry from 22 to 24 February, 2017 with the participation of the University of Alicante, the main coordinator of the project and 6 member universities in Vietnam.
Dr. Tran Dinh Lam had a talk on “Economic reform in Vietnam” with Prof. Tsuboi alongside students from the Waseda University and the Faculty of International Relations, Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities (HCMC USSH) on February 17.
The Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies (CVSEAS) collaborated with ALUE, a corporation in human resource training in Japan, to organize a training program for employees of the ANA Airport Services Co., Ltd. (Japan) successfully. The program lasted from 12 to 17 February, 2017 with various interesting and practical activities.

CVSEAS MEETS PROF. KOJI KOBATA FROM UNIVERSITY OF FUKUI, JAPANOn January 12 2017, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam, Director of the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies (CVSEAS), met up with Prof. Koji Kobata from the University of Fukui, Japan.
On January 09-10, the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies collaborated with the Center on Asia and Globalization, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, to organize the inaugural international conference on “Trade, Industrialization and Structural Reforms in ASEAN” at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities (HCMC USSH).
On January 16, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam had a meeting with Prof. Bae Yang Soo, Dean of the Department of Vietnamese Studies, from Busan University of Foreign Studies, Korea.
On December 23, 2016, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam, Director of the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies, attended the ITEC Day 2016 held by the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City.
