TRAINING WORKSHOP UNDER PROJECT: STRENGTHENING THE VIETNAMESE HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM TO IMPROVE GRADUATES’ EMPLOYABILITY AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILLS”From 20-24 March, 2018, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam attended the training workshop under the project on “Strengthening the Vietnamese Higher Education System to improve graduates’ employability and entrepreneurship skills” at the University of Alicante (Spain) and University of Coimbra (Portugal).
On March 27, 2018, Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU – HCMC, collaborated with the Saigon Businessmen Club to host a seminar on “Promoting effective negotiation strategies to do business with Japanese enterprises”.
On March 26, 2018, the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies held a seminar on “Japanese business culture” presented by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Fuyuko Takita, lecturer from Hiroshima University (Japan), with the participation of students of Faculty of International Relations, English Linguistics & Literature, and Japanese Studies at HCMC University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
On February 27, 2018, a workshop on Sustainable Tourism Development was held at the FH Joanneum University, Graz (Austria). It is part of the project “Competence centers for the development of sustainable tourism and innovative financial management strategies to increase the positive impact of local tourism in Thailand and Vietnam” funded by the European Union (EU).

Attending the workshop, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam had a meeting with professors and lecturers of FH Joanneum University, and he presented books to its library.
