On 5 July 2022, Xinchao ScienceEdu, Linh Chieu Primary School coordinating with the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies organized seminar “Evaluation of Smart Science Lab Class Project”. The seminar had the attendance of Mr Nguyen Thai Vinh Nguyen, Head of Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City (DoET) , Mrs Le Thi Xinh, Deputy Head of DoET of Thu Duc City, Mrs Grace Soyun Jung, project lead - CEO of Xinchao ScienceEdu, Mrs Ta Thi Tuyet Mai, Headmaster of Linh Chiểu Primary School, Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Mai - Dean of Faculty of Korean Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU HCM, Duong Thi My Hien M.A - Lecturer of Faculty of Korean Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities - HCMVNU, headmasters of other primary schools and teachers at Linh Chieu school. The Smart Science Lab Class project lasts from late March to middle of June, aiming to bring equal educational opportunities with technological advances such as tablets, VR headsets, LMS.
On July 2nd, 2022, the seminar: “Barrier free research from Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam” was held online, hosted by Dr. Toshiyuki Uwano. This is the final part of the project "Cross-cultural communication for the inclusive society by the leaders of Person with Disability in Asia" by Dr. Toshiyuki Uwano, sponsored by the Toyota foundation. Attending the seminar were researchers, lecturers, and social workers from universities, social security and welfare centers, and social work centers of many Asian countries. Dr. Tran Dinh Lam - Director of CVSEAS, also attended the event.
On May 29th, 2022, The Vietnam Australia Innovation Network (NIC AU) organized a Conference themed "Application of technology 5.0 to innovate sustainable development of the agricultural industry and supply chain to improve the quality, distribution, and value of agricultural products in an effective and circular manner”.
Within the implementation of the research program on sustainable rural development under the effects of hydropower, thermal power, wind power, and solar power, from February 25th to March 8th, 2022, the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies (CVSEAS), University of Social Sciences and Humanities Ho Chi Minh City, in cooperation with the University of Okinawa (Japan) has conducted field research in the three provinces of Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, and Ha Tinh.
On the evening of February 14, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) coordinated with the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) to hold a “Forum for connecting overseas Vietnamese entrepreneurs, promoting trade and investment in the agricultural sector”.
On January 6th, 2022, the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs held the 50th anniversary of Vietnam – India diplomatic relations (7/1/1972 – 7/1/2022).
On December 10th, 2021, the Central Economic Commission in collaboration with the Can Tho City Party Committee and Ho Chi Minh City National University held a seminar on "Social and economic development in the Mekong Delta to 2030, with a vision to 2045". The seminar had the participation of Mr. Tran Tuan Anh - Politburo member and Head of the Party Central Committee's Economic Commission as the chairman, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Hai Quan - President of VNUHCM, secretaries of the provincial party committee, and central and local ministries. The seminar also welcomed the participation of institutes, universities, experts, scientists, and leaders of 13 provinces in the Mekong Delta region. Dr. Tran Dinh Lam - Director of CVSEAS, also attended the event.
On December 7th, 2021, the UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the Mekong Development Research Institute (MDRI), with the support from the Australian Government’s Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), organized a webinar “ Citizens' Opinions of and Experiences with Government Responses to COVID-19 Pandemic in Viet Nam: Findings from Round 2 Phone-Based Survey, 2021”. The webinar had the participation of researchers, experts, and policymakers. Dr. Tran Dinh Lam also attended the event.
