On December 04th, 2020, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony in celebration of the 93rd National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand and the birthday of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej (December 05th, 1927) which also marks Father’s Day.
At the end of October 2020, after attending the Vietnam Employability and Entrepreneurship support network signing ceremony in Hanoi, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam - Director of the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies, had a conversation with Prof. Yasuhiro Yamada - Special Assistant to the President of Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) on Cambodia - Laos - Myanmar - Vietnam (CLMV) Affairs. The conversation is about changing the mindset to develop the human resources in Vietnam.
On November 9th, 2020, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam had a visit with Dr. Tran Dinh Hang – Director of Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies in Hue and Mr. Tran Quoc Thang – Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Dien District, Thua Thien Hue Province to discuss the potential for tourism development in Tam Giang lagoon. The discussion also welcomed the participation of Mr. Doan Sung – CEO of Doan Anh Duong J.S.C. and Mme. Nguyen Thi Diem Kieu – Director of Go Co cooperative, Quang Ngai Province.

On November 18th, 2020, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, members of the Board of Director of the V2WORK project had a meeting with the representatives of TOPCV – one of the top e-recruitment platform in Vietnam, about supporting students seeking for a job by using technology applications.
On November 17th, 2020 in USSH, the executive committee of TOURIST project and TOURIST’s members had a workshop with Ms. Dinh Thi Minh Xuan - HeartVentures Travel Company about the model of voluntourism in Vietnam. The meeting is within the framework of work package No.4 implementing the Center for Development of Sustainable Tourism.
