On February 29 and March 01, 2024, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam - Director of International Cooperation Program at the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies, attended a workshop at Farm Manh Duong in Krong Ana district, Dak Lak Province. The workshop was organized by Nico Nico Yasai, with Mr. Mimoru Shiokawa as the director.

On Saturday, March 9th, 2024, The Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies participated in a seminar with the theme: "Gender in Chinese Cinema and Japanese Popular Culture", held at Nam Thi House (152 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), organized by the Vietnam Women's Publishing House in collaboration with the Japan Foundation and Nam Thi House. The event was coordinated by Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh (Ho Chi Minh City University of Education), with two invited speakers, Dr. Alisa Freedman (University of Oregon) and Dr. Phan Thu Van (Ho Chi Minh City University of Education).

On December 5, 2023, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam, Director of the International Cooperation Program at the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies, attended the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand organized by the Royal Thai Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Vo Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, who gave a congratulatory speech. Representatives from various departments, unions, universities, and research institutes in the city and beyond were also presented.

On November 15-16, 2023, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam - Director of the International Cooperation Program, Center for Vietnam and Southeast Asian Studies attended the Mekong Connect 2023 program with the theme: "Connecting supply chains and value chains between the economic region of Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta towards a green and sustainable economy" held in Ho Chi Minh City by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Science and Technology.

On October 31, 2023, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam - Director of the International Cooperation Program at Center for Vietnam and Southeast Asian Studies (CVSEAS) had a meeting and discussion with Mr. Seiki Furudate - Deputy Consul General of Japan on his new term of office in Ho Chi Minh City.

On November 9 - 10, 2023, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam - Director of the International Cooperation Program at Center for Vietnam and Southeast Asian Studies attended the training course: "Circular economy towards sustainable development: Issues posed to the public sector" organized by the Centre of International Integration Support in Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with the Sustainable Finance Institute, UEH University.

On October 24th, 2023, Busan University of Foreign Studies organized a seminar for Korean-Vietnamese translation class with the topic: "Origin and lesson of Korean economic development and lesson for Vietnam in the future". Dr. Tran Dinh Lam participated as a speaker for the seminar.

On October 10, 2023, Taiwan (Republic of China) celebrated its 112th Double Tenth National Day. A grand reception was held in celebration of the milestone by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City at the Nikko Saigon Hotel.

On September 30, 2023, Dr. Tran Dinh Lam – Director of International Cooperation Program at the Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies, had a meeting with Ms. Minehec Lebron Negron – Director of Global Security at Abbott Laboratories in Ho Chi Minh City during her visit to Vietnam. Ms. Negron is slated to take part in training seminars focused on brand identification and strategies to combat counterfeit goods. These seminars will be held in Dong Nai and Nha Trang.

On September 29, 2023, a forum titled "Developing Safe Agricultural Production Supply Chain" was held in Ho Chi Minh City under the direction of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and coordination of the Business Forum Magazine.
