From December 1st to 3rd, 2021, Center for Rural Development - Saemaul Undong, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM in collaboration with Central New Rural Coordination Office organized a training program: “Startup forum associated with One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program for youths and students”. The program was held online via Zoom and was broadcast live through Saemaul Undong Center’s Fanpage and Youtube channel.
On October 26th, 2021, the Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology (AIIT) organized an online inaugural meeting of research fellows. The meeting had the participation of Prof. Yamada - Director of Epistemic Research Institute of Mekong Region (ERIMeR), Prof. Maeda - Director of Epistemic Research Institute of Social Ethics (ERISE), Prof. Tran Van Tho - Waseda University, and research fellows from Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam. Dr. Tran Dinh Lam - Director of CVSEAS also attended the meeting.
On November 20th, 2021, University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized the Ceremony on Vietnamese Teachers’ Day. The Ceremony was live via the Youtube channel “Người Nhân Văn” with nearly 1000 staff, lectures, and students watching the event.
On November 21, 2021, the webinar "Agricultural economy: The development of agricultural economy in Mekong Delta" was organized online. The event is one of the in-depth discussions in a series of seminars at the Vietnamese Intellectuals Forum in Japan this year. At the virtual seminar, speakers and experts expressed their views on the agricultural picture in Vietnam as well as in the Mekong Delta. Future plans for the development of the agricultural economy were also discussed, aiming to improve the position of Vietnam agriculture in the world map.
On October 30th, 2021, International Conference: Law and Economics on Illicit Trades was organized online by the Institute for Advanced Social Sciences, Waseda University, Japan. The conference had the participation of scholars and researchers from Japan, China, Malaysia, the US, Italy, and Vietnam. Dr. Tran Dinh Lam - Director of CVSEAS attended the meeting as a chairman of the panel discussion.
On October, 30th 2021, Taiwan Education Fair in Vietnam was organized as a virtual event by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office. The annual event aimed to provide information and benefits on studying in Taiwan to Vietnamese students. This event was also the opportunity to promote the cooperation between Vietnam - Taiwan in affiliate training, exchange program, and transfer program.
On October 26-27th 2021, the Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) Virtual Fair was jointly organized online by Erasmus+ National Offices and European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). The Virtual Fair displayed the results achieved by 2015-2020 funded projects of universities around the world. With the aim to inspire and shape the next generation of CBHE projects, the Virtual Fair had the participation of academics, university managers, students, and national policymakers.
From September 28th, 2021, Center for Rural Development - Saemaul Undong, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM in collaboration with Central New Rural Coordination Office and Association of Francophone Universities (AUF) implemented the training course of One Commune One Product (OCOP) program in 2021.
