A LECTURE BY CVSEAS AT NATIONAL CHENGCHI UNIVERSITY IN TAIWANA LECTURE BY CVSEAS AT NATIONAL CHENGCHI UNIVERSITY IN TAIWAN

On December 18th, 2009, National Chengchi University invited Dr. Tran Dinh Lam, director of Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies, to give a lecture to the students of World Economy and International Economic Relation from many countries in the world.

On the afternoon of November 9th, 2009, Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies (CVSEAS) held a talk on “The past, present and future of culture in weave and dye in japan mê kông - What is the link of traditional development?” funded by Japan Foundation. Attending the talk were Mr YOSHIMOTO Shinobu - professor of Department for National Culture Studies, Japanese National Ethnological Museum, Mr Takeji Yoshikawa (director of Japan Foundation in Vietnam), Ms Nguyen Thanh Van (program officer), Dr. TRan Dinh Lam (director of CVSEAS), Prof. Dr. Thanh Phan (vice-director of CVSEAS), Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Yen Tuyet (Faculty of Vietnamese Studies), Ms Nguyen Thi Bi (director of COBI Private Enterprise of Production - Trade - Service), experts, researchers and students.

From November 19th, to December 2nd, 2009, Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies (CVSEAS) went on dealing with Atsushi Okada – research student of Tokyo University, Japan, on the scale of his survey on "contract farming" in Vietnam.

On October 18th, 2009, students of IT Japanese class visited two Japanese companies in Vietnam. These are Shinkawa company at Anna Building, Quang Trung Software city and IMLINK Vietnam company.

 
OKINAWA CHURA ASSEMBLY PLAYED ''THE CLIMATE OF THE SOUTHERN ISLAND''OKINAWA CHURA ASSEMBLY PLAYED ''THE CLIMATE OF THE SOUTHERN ISLAND''

On two nights November 10-11,2009, Okinawa Chura Assembly played “Climate on the Southern Island” with the opera and dance on classical Ryukyu school (Japan) in HCMC Conservatoire. This is one of the activities in “Year of Japan – Mê Kông 2009).

On the morning of October 29th, 2009, Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies successfully held a talk by Mr Kurimoto Mitsuharu - General director of Top Globis. A lot of participants from many enterprises, teachers and students took part in the talk.

On October 22th, 2009, Center for Vietnamese and Southeast Asian Studies (CVSEAS) held a talk on :"Culture on behavior and communicative skills of the enterprises in the stage of integration" delivered by The Hung, a doctor of aesthetics, Director of arts program, Center for International Studies, Hanoi National University.

On the morning of October 15th, 2009, at International University (Vietnam National University-HCMC) took place a reception of books donated by "Books4Vietnam-Books for Vietnam" Organisation VN2020 and Opening Ceremony of Library "VN2020-International University, VNU-HCM".
